Show home full of Beans thanks to kids' story artwork

Story: sales executives Colin Marshall and Rachel Berry in the Zoe and Bean room at Burghfield Place

Story: sales executives Colin Marshall and Rachel Berry in the Zoe and Bean room at Burghfield Place

For youngsters a bit bored of looking round houses with their parents, we’ve got a special treat in store at our Burghfield Place development in Peterborough.

Our Midlands region has decorated a bedroom in the show home with beautiful hand illustrations of Zoe and Beans – the popular children’s book characters created by father and daughter team Mick and Chloe Inkpen.

The fun images of loveable, lively Zoe and her devoted dog Beans are set to make the room a place to linger for show home visitors, especially the younger ones.

Linden Homes Midlands sales manager Warren O’Callaghan said: “We wanted to give our visitors something a bit different and the ‘Zoe and Beans room’, as we call it, is really charming.

“So much work has gone into the murals and other aspects of the room, which complements the rest of the house.

“Our themed rooms seem to have been a big hit at our developments elsewhere – with the Hello Kitty room at the Orchid development in Oakham, and the room in honour of Roald Dahl at our Bingham development both proving a big hit and talking point with visitors of all ages.”
