Our team which successfully refurbished a Modernist architectural gem in London into luxury apartments have been applauded for the careful way they carried out the work.
Ashlar Court, in Hammersmith, was transformed by our South East region into a stunning collection of homes; saving a 1930s Grade II listed building from the threat of neglect and decay.
The workers who carried out the work have now been recognised with a Bronze Award for Excellence as part of the national Considerate Constructors Scheme.
The initiative, of which Linden Homes is a member, includes a pledge to lessen the impact of construction on the surrounding communities and environment by being respectful and accountable, and running tidy and safe sites.
The latest award for the Ashlar Court team follows another accolade last year when the sold-out development was among those to be commended in the Conversion, Restoration or Refurbishment category of the British Homes Awards, which celebrates design excellence.
Linden Homes South East managing director Darren Maddox said: “We’re very proud of the high quality way we brought new life to Ashlar Court. That we did so by trying to cause as little inconvenience to neighbours makes it an even better result.”
Over 90% of our waste is recycled or converted into energy.
Our insulation process includes blowing insulation into cavity walls, which means our homes are better insulated because there are less air gaps.
