Our North region welcomed some of its youngest ever visitors when it gave a nursery a guided toddle round the new Pavilion development in Methley, West Yorkshire.
Youngsters from the Ladybirds nursery were invited to try on hard hats and high-vis jackets and have a look around the homes and see how they are built.
Nursery officer Kaylee Chambers said: “We have been taking pictures of the site from when worked started and thought it would be fantastic if the children could come and have a look around one of the finished homes to help them to understand that there is an end product.
“We were delighted when Linden Homes kindly agreed to our request to come and have a look around the development. The children had a fantastic time.”
Linden Homes North production manager Kevin Hoyland added: “We often host school visits at our developments across the region, but this group of children were by far our youngsters.
“It was a pleasure to show them around and answers their questions. They also enjoyed putting on the hi-vis jackets and hard hats!”
