Model pupils: youngsters from St Nicholas Primary School inspect the development
We found a good home for a scale model of our St Nicholasgate development by donating it to a local school to use in lessons.
Youngsters at Beverley St Nicholas Primary School, near Hull, will be able to learn more about building and architecture with the miniature, which has details right down to the exact colour of the brickwork, landscaping, road finishes and even solar panels on the roofs.
The high quality collection of homes being delivered by our North region is now nearing completion, with only a few properties remaining for sale.
Linden Homes North sales executive Sandra Longthorn said: “We have had a lot of involvement with the children and teachers of St Nicholas school; hosting site visits during the various stages of building – giving the youngsters a brief insight into how new homes are built, together with lessons on safety on building sites.”
Teacher Vicki Galbraith said: “We are thrilled with the model and our huge thanks to Linden Homes, who have been generous with both their time and actions over the months in giving many of our children some hands-on knowledge of the construction industry and an insight into building communities.”
All of our homes come with Smart Meters. These have the capacity to automatically send readings to your energy provider.
Over 90% of our waste is recycled or converted into energy.
