We played a small part in fulfilling the Disneyland wish of a five-year-old girl suffering an inoperable condition.
When Millie Brown, from Halstead in Essex, was diagnosed with a brain stem tumour, a fundraising campaign – the Magical Millie Fund – was launched to give her some special moments.
She recently returned from a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Disneyland Paris with her family, which our Eastern office contributed to by raising £130 through a dress-down day at our offices in Chelmsford.
During the trip Millie enjoyed breakfast every morning with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, an exclusive lunch with all the Princesses, plus a personal visit and extra-special cuddle with Snow White and Ariel.
Linden Homes Eastern senior buyer Jamie Williamson helped to organise the dress down day and he said: “It was great to see how much Millie enjoyed the experience with her family.
“I’m pleased that we played our small part in helping the community fundraising effort to be such a success.”

Linden Homes has contributed over £12.8 million towards outdoor open areas throughout the UK since 2010.
