We celebrated more silverware when Kingston Mills in Bradford-on-Avon won the Mixed Use category in the prestigious Sunday Times British Homes Awards 2012.
The town centre collection of homes, shops, cafes and public open space protects a precious Grade I listed building and is reviving this section of the beautiful River Avon as it winds through the town.
The development being delivered in Wiltshire by our western region was also shortlisted in the Conversion, Restoration or Refurbishment category. Linden Homes was commended in the Homebuilder of the Year section.
The honours were announced at a glittering ceremony at the London Marriott, in Grosvenor Square, on Wednesday September 19th. The award adds to Linden Homes’ Housebuilder of the Year title we won in the Building magazine awards in June.
Linden Homes Western sales director Adrian Bird said: “To be shortlisted in three categories is great news, so to win one and be commended in another is a wonderful result and we are all very proud.
“This is a stunning site with some historic buildings so getting it right was just as important to the community of Bradford-on-Avon as it was to us.”
The blocks we use to build your home are the most energy efficient available and 80% of material within the blocks is recycled material - this saves heat loss from our homes and thus reduces CO2 emissions.
Linden Homes has contributed over £30.7 million to highways, transport systems and infrastructure throughout the UK since 2010.
