House hunting and wine tasting at Three Rivers

Venue: Three Rivers in Truro where the wine tasting event was held for visitors

Househunters will have the chance to learn more about wines at a special session hosted by our South West region’s Three Rivers development in Truro.

As well as investigating the collection of homes, visitors to the event at 6pm on Thursday May 28th will be able to sample some good wines and get some expert advice on what to look for when choosing bottles for themselves.

Tim Holway, from Cornwall Wine Tasting Group, said: “Wine tasting is great fun. It’s really useful to discover what makes a good wine and learn which wines complement certain types of food.

“It makes it so much easier when you know what you’re looking for when you’re dining out or choosing a bottle from a shop.”

Brian Deacon, sales and marketing director for Linden Homes said: “We’re delighted to be holding a wine tasting event – I always feel like such a fraud in restaurants when the waiter asks me to sample the wine and I’m looking forward to being able to respond intelligently!

“We’re hosting a series of events for the local community, we want to show visitors the homes that are available and demonstrate that Truro is a fantastic place to live. It’s also a great opportunity for new residents at Three Rivers to start to get to know their neighbours.”
