Giving a lift to village’s The Breeze newsletter

Victory Fields: The Breeze will also be delivered to residents at the new development

Victory Fields: The Breeze will also be delivered to residents at the new development

A Cotswolds village has launched the very first edition of its new community newsletter, The Breeze, with a little help from our Thames Valley region.

The 16-page colour mini magazine is published by a group of local volunteers for their fellow residents, and contains local news, views, advice and useful contact details.

We donated £500 toward the printing costs and contributed an article to tell the community more about the developments at Victory Fields, where we’re transforming an old RAF landing strip with high quality family homes.

The first edition also featured a youth page, information about the parish council, some history about road names in the village, upcoming events, news of the Upper Rissington Social Committee, and much more.

Steve Garton, Linden Homes Thames Valley’s sales and marketing director, said: “We were delighted to help out the parish council with The Breeze. It’s a great idea and I’m sure residents will enjoy reading it.

“As a high quality housebuilder we know better than most that to have a home you also need a community around it. Upper Rissington is a beautiful place to live and the newsletter goes to show what a neighbourly spirit it has too.”
