Getting busy to give youngsters a charity boost

Donations: our Guildford region has made contributions and run fundraising events for charity

Donations: our Guildford region has made contributions and run fundraising events for charity

Children have seen the benefits of a series of donations made recently by our Guildford region.

The office raised money for Save the Children by joining in its national fundraising Christmas Jumper Day on December 13th, donning their most garish knitwear for a good cause.

A donation has also been made to a school in Upper Froyle in the form of a Christmas hamper. It’s where we’re constructing 58 high quality new homes at the former Treloar College, which will become Froyle Park.

Meanwhile, a tuck shop and Christmas raffle run at the office in Guildford helped collect even more funding: this time for Disability Challengers, a charity delivering inclusive play activities for disabled youngsters across Surrey, Hampshire and beyond.

Linden Homes Guildford managing director Peter Youll said: “We’ve got a good team spirit here, so when it comes to fundraising everyone chips in very generously.

“We’re a housebuilder dedicated to delivering high quality homes where families really want to live. But we’re also a member of the community and activities like these show how we’re getting involved.”
