We teamed up with generous customers in our south-east region to raise nearly £4,000 for a charity dedicated to caring for youngsters with multiple disabilities.
Buyers receiving reservation forms were offered the chance to donate £50 to the Children’s Trust at Tadworth, Surrey, with the promise that we would match their contribution.
We have been supporting its vital work for some time and in the last two years the initiative has raised a total of £3,900, which we recently presented to the charity.
It provides over one-third of the country’s beds dedicated to the rehabilitation of children with serious brain injuries. Over 5,000 youngsters a year suffer harm that will affect them in this way for the rest of their life.
Linden Homes South East managing director Steve Bangs said: “We are delighted that our purchasers continue to support the excellent work that is being done by the trust and we will continue to encourage them to do so.
“It’s part of our philosophy at Linden Homes that we look for tangible ways to get involved in helping community causes. We’re not just about bricks and mortar; we’re determined to leave a legacy too.”
Wherever possible the appliances fitted in our homes are ‘A Rated’ or higher for energy performance.
Our insulation process includes blowing insulation into cavity walls, which means our homes are better insulated because there are less air gaps.
