Our East Yorkshire region has donated £500 towards helping to boost funds for new school books, and recently presented a cheque to the school to round off the end of term.
A spokesperson for The Friends of Mount Pleasant Junior School said: “This £500 kindly donated by Linden Homes will be used to renew our well-worn books so we can enjoy a new selection.”
Julie Hubbard, sales manager, said: “As the school is neighbouring to our family-friendly Bradley Meadow in Market Weighton we were delighted to make a contribution towards the fundraising appeal, particularly as some of our customers’ children will benefit.”
Over £133m has been committed by Linden Homes to improving local communities since 2010.
Linden Homes has won awards for Best Sustainable Developer four years in a row.
