Our Midlands region is in the running for a top environmental and design award honouring the very best buildings in Peterborough.
The team, which has its head office there, has been shortlisted for its superb Drover’s Mead development in the village of Castor on the outskirts of the city.
It is up against three other entrants for the Peterborough Development and Environment Award in the design category of Best Residential – Multiple Dwellings.
Our submission included details of the special care taken to pick out key features of the historic heart of Castor in terms of layout, materials and detailing. We’ll find out the result at a presentation ceremony at the town hall on Friday November 23rd.
Linden Homes Midlands technical director Barry Maynard said: “We are thrilled to have been chosen as a finalist and delighted that the judges have recognised the tremendous amount of care and consideration that went into designing these fabulous family homes at Castor.”
