During a visit to our Home @ Heartlands development in Redruth, Communities Minister Marcus Jones MP was keen to learn in particular how Help to Buy has supported customers.
The Minister explored the new development with Nigel Palmer, Linden Homes South West managing director, and the team, along with Paul Britton, area manager at the Homes and Communities Agency.
During the tour, they visited Florin and Gina Strugariu, who live with their three children at Home @Heartlands where they purchased using Help to Buy – as have 43 per cent of buyers there.
Florin said: “We’re delighted that Help to Buy has enabled us to buy our own house and save £70 a month in the process! We’ve lived in the area for the last 12 years and finally buying our own home was a real milestone for us, we’re over the moon.”
Communities Minister, Marcus Jones MP said: “It’s great to see first-hand how the scheme is benefitting people and how enthusiastic Linden Homes is when it comes to apprenticeships and local labour.”
We are committed to training hundreds of people under our Linden Homes National Apprentice Programme which currently supports 111 apprentices in the South West.
Linden Homes has contributed over £47.7 million to education throughout the UK since 2010.
We only use composite front doors which are insulated to lessen heat loss from our homes.
