Things will be feeling a little sheepish around Bristol this summer where we’re supporting a charity appeal inspired by TV and cinema favourite Shaun the Sheep.
After the success of the Gromit-themed statue trail in 2013, our Western region has once again sponsored one of 70 uniquely designed sculptures that will be cropping up around the city as part of ‘Shaun in the City’.
This time it’s the turn of one of Britain’s best loved children’s characters, Shaun the Sheep, to take centre stage during July and August.
The fun initiative is in support of Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children’s Hospital charity.
It helps to provide life-saving equipment, patient activities, new services and family accommodation for children and babies at Bristol Children’s Hospital and the Special Care Baby Unit at St Michael’s Hospital.
Linden Homes Western managing director Clive Wiltshire said: “The Shaun the Sheep designs are amazing and a lot of fun. We were so glad to have another opportunity to support this wonderful initiative.”
