Vanessa Allison, one of our North region’s sales executives, has been lacing up her walking boots to support the fundraising efforts of a local hospital.
Taking a break from selling new homes, Vanessa – who is based at The Balk development in Pocklington – was among the many to line up for the recent nine-mile sponsored walk along part of the popular Wanderlust Way.
The event was held to boost funds for the oncology and haematology department at the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby, and has raised around £400 so far.
Vanessa, who was joined along the route by husband Andy, said: “We had a great day, made all the more satisfying by the fact that we were all raising money for such a worthy cause.
“The scenery on the Lincolnshire Wolds was stunning, and I’m really happy to have taken part.”
