An Essex-based charity helping families with special needs got a funding boost from an awards event held by our Eastern region.
Snap offers support to people looking after children with disabilities aged up to 25, and it was the beneficiary of a prize-giving ceremony where we recognised some of the best work over the last year.
We distributed accolades in categories such as Subcontractor of the Year, Supplier of the Year, the safest site and Consultant of the Year.
The awards were held at Boreham house in Chelmsford, and were opened by Adrian Bohr, Linden Homes Eastern’s managing director. A three-course meal was followed by the raffle in aid of Snap.
Adrian Bohr said: “After a busy 12 months it’s great to be able to recognise colleagues and business partners who have really excelled, and it’s even better to fundraise for a very worthwhile cause at the same time.
“The combined effort of our employees and our subcontractors is what makes our high quality houses so popular. This is a way of saying thank you and helping out the community too.”
Linden Homes has contributed over £30.7 million to highways, transport systems and infrastructure throughout the UK since 2010.
