Out of the way, out of the ordinary – but not out of touch
The village of Portreath has a real community feel. There are a couple of pubs and village shops, while just under 5 miles away is Redruth with a good selection of local shops, or in Camborne, a few miles further down the A30, a large superstore and shopping centre.
The main A30 is ten minutes away offering an easy drive to Truro (13 miles), Falmouth (13.9 miles) and Penzance (17.6 miles). The nearest railway station at Camborne (4 miles) offers services to Exeter in just over 2 hours. The nearest airport, in Newquay, is 29 miles away. The M5 motorway (J31) is approximately 90 miles, and a few miles further, Exeter International airport.
