The famous Camel Trail, a walk and cycleway that has replaced the old railway tracks from Bodmin to Padstow, runs through the town. It’s also a very pleasant, traffic free way to walk or cycle to Padstow and the coast, or inland through wooded valleys to Bodmin and the moor.

Copper Beech is just a few minutes from the town centre and only a mile from the main A39 that now bypasses the town. By road, it’s just 7 miles from Padstow and 8 miles from Bodmin, while there is easy access to the A30, A38 and M5. Local bus services are good, while the nearest mainline railway station is Bodmin Parkway, 10 miles from Copper Beech, from where there are regular services to Plymouth, Exeter and London. The airport at Newquay is just 12 miles away.

A perfect place for families, good schools are available in the town, from preschool to sixth form.
