Less than 9 miles from Copsewood is the busy and popular town of Reading. This is a well-connected town, and has plenty of shops, eateries and everyday amenities all within short distances of one another. The Oracle Shopping Centre has a vast collection of high street retailers, independent shops and designer brands, with everything from clothing to homeware available. There are a number of restaurants, cafes and bars within the centre, with many large chain restaurants overlooking the River Kennet. The Oracle is also home to a multi-screen cinema, so a day spent here will mean you can shop, eat and be entertained in one place. Stepping outside, there are numerous other shops and eateries to choose from, as well as being able to get away from the bustle for a while in Forbury Gardens. This is a public park which has beautiful landscaped gardens that mean visitors can relax in attractive surroundings. Wokingham has the benefit of having excellent road and rail links around the country. The A329(M) is just a few miles away from Copsewood, and provides links via the A322 to Guildford (1 hour) and the M3, which allows for direct routes to Basingstoke (45 minutes), Winchester (1 hour) and Southampton (1 hour 20 minutes). The M4 can also be reached easily from Copsewood, where locations including Swindon (1 hour), Bristol (1 hour 45 minutes) and London (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes) can all be reached.

For train travel, Wokingham train station is just a mile from home, and provides regular services to Reading (15 minutes), Redhill (55 minutes), Gatwick Airport (around 1 hour 20 minutes) and London Waterloo (1 hour 15 minutes).
