Overview

Linden Homes was granted outline planning permission to develop up to 175 new homes on land at Crow Lane and Crow Arch Lane in 2014. Permission was also granted for the detailed proposals – submitted in a ‘Reserved Matters’ application – for Phase 1 of the development in March 2017.

Since that time, we have been preparing the details of the proposals for Phase 2, and we are now ready to share these proposals with the local community.

Development at this site will bring up to 175 new homes, 1.5ha employment space and 3.8ha public open spaces into the local area.

 

Phase 1

The first phase of development includes

  • 62 new homes
  • 50% affordable
  • A wide variety of homes:

o 6 x 1 bedrooms

o 18 x 2 bedrooms

o 28 x 3 bedrooms

o 10 x 4 bedrooms

  • Generous parking provision
  • 2 new park spaces
  • The Suitable Alternative Natural Green Space (SANGS)

o   This will include informal open space and dedicated space for dog walking

 

This phase has now received detailed planning permission from New Forest District Council

 

Phase 2

The second phase of development, currently under consultation, will include:

  • The remaining 113 new homes
  • 50% affordable housing
  • The provision of pedestrian and cycle pathways

o   Wednesday 19th July 2017 from 9am to 5pm

o   Thursday 20th July 2017 from 9am to 5pm

o   Friday 20th July 2017 from 9am to 4:45pm

o   Saturday 22nd July from 10am to 4pm

 

Comment forms and freepost envelopes will be available at both of the displays, so you will be able to provide us with any feedback that you may have. We would be very grateful for your time and any comments you wish to make.
