Award-winning housebuilder Linden Homes has acquired an interest in land off Arlesey Road, Stotfold and is currently developing proposals to develop the site.

As you may be aware, the site includes land allocated for housing by Policy HA12 of the Central Bedfordshire North Site Allocations DPD (2011), and adjacent land.

In order to provide you with an opportunity to view the proposals prior to submission of a detailed planning application, a public exhibition has been organised.

The consultation will be held:

At: Stotfold Town Council, Greenacre Centre, Valerian Way, Stotfold, SG5 4HG

Between: 3.30pm and 7.30pm

Linden Homes’ detailed planning application seeks permission for:

  • An attractive mix of 161 new homes, comprising 2, 3, 4, and 5 bed dwellings.
  • Of the 161 homes, 35% are proposed to be classified as affordable and will be ‘pepper potted’ throughout the scheme.
  • A tree lined boulevard acting as a central spine through the development.
  • Green landscaping and a play area for children.

The scheme would deliver numerous benefits to the local community and Central Bedfordshire Council through the Government’s New Homes Bonus Scheme and a comprehensive Section 106 package comprising:
